Robert Mitchell's Panacea

Robert Mitchell's Panacea are a diverse, award winning Jazz octet featuring musicians from Cuba and Australia. Robert Mitchell is a prolific artist, who as well as working with Panacea has worked in a trio, in duos and also recorded work as a solo artist. His trio's album The Greater Good won Best Jazz Album 2009 from Gilles Peterson Worldwide. The Panacea features eight highly talented musicians: Robert Mitchell on piano and keys, Deborah Jordan on vocals, Tom Mason on bass and violin, Shaney Forbes on drums, Julian Ferraretto on violin, Ben Davis on Cello, Mandy Drummond on viola, and Hammadi Valdez on percussion. These multitalented artists perform at The Hare and Hounds on the 7th November.
