Michael Olatuja

Bass player Michael Olatuja comes to Live Box with a diverse musical set featuring influences as far flung as traditional Nigerian Yoruba music as well as jazz, soul, R&B and Gospel. Michael has played for a wide range of artists including Terence Blanchard, Patti Austin, Lisa Stansfield, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, the Brooklyn Tabernacle Chair, and Gretchen Parlato as well as creating his own music embodied in his album Speak. His powerful music, based on his strong Christian roots, is designed to uplift and brings a great sense of positivity, and he is sure to put on a fantastic set at the Drum on the 28th November.
